World Earth Day - 22nd April 2024
For world Earth Day coming up, I thought I would share a few sustainable shops you can support and buy local products.
Lightfoot is a lovely refill shop in Bangor, Co Down. They offer a range of dry food and toiletries that you can bring your own pots to refill. They also have a selection of beautiful homemade baked treats to offer each day.
Another great zero waste shop is Without waste, based in Holywood. They also have a great range of dry food and liquids to refill as well has having a selection of local products to purchase.
The Peppery Cat based in Bangor is another lovely zero waste grocer with lots of refill stations to choose from. They have a big selection of cleaning products in the back of their shop to fill up on. All you have to do is bring your own containers and they will help with the rest.
I am yet to visit Considered Co but I have heard amazing things about this shop and its owners. They are currently trying to move premises and have started a Kickstarter page to raise enough money to move. Inspire Wellness Refill Store, Banbridge
Inspire Wellness is a refill store based in Banbridge, as well as offering lots of different dry food they also have an online store where you can purchase their food on their website as well as the local and sustainable products that they sell.
